Collaboration & HD Screenshare End of Life

This product announcement is to inform you that all versions of the Stretto Collaboration and HD Screenshare solutions are entering an end-of-life process. CounterPath is committed to working with customers to help migrate all existing customers to a current Bria offering on a reasonable, timely basis.

CounterPath will be retiring the Collaboration and HD Screenshare offerings in our products with the following milestone dates:

• End of Sale: Collaboration and HD Screenshare licenses will no longer be available for purchase after March 31, 2023.
• End of Support / End of Life: Collaboration and HD Screenshare will no longer be available for support after January 31, 2024.

What this means for you

Customers currently using a version of Stretto Collaboration or HD Screenshare in their solutions can continue to use these features until the End of Support date, assuming they have an active support or subscription agreement until that date. After that date, Collaboration services hosted by CounterPath and HD Screenshare service will no longer be available to end users. 

What you need to do

Customers should begin to evaluate and plan for the transition of their end-users to a current Bria offering from the existing Business/Pro Collaboration offering.

What is the migration process?

At the End of Support date, all remaining hosted Bria Business/Pro users will need to be converted to Bria Standard users. Customers with perpetual-based licenses will be assisted by Customer Success and Support to migrate their deployment to the Bria Standard solution.
