Windows 7 and 8.1 will no longer be actively supported as of January 14th, 2020

Announcing the upcoming End of Support for Window 7 and 8.1

First released in 2009, Windows 7 is reaching the end of its technical life.  Microsoft will be ending Extended support for Windows 7 on January 14^th, 2020.

CounterPath will no longer be supporting the operation of Bria on Windows 7 or 8.1 after January 14^th, 2020. We won’t take any active steps to prevent operation, it just won’t be officially tested or supported. 

Our 5.7 release will be the last version that CounterPath will officially test and support running on Windows 7 or Window 8.1.   Upcoming releases will only be supported on Windows 10.
