Are you able to unmute once a call is established, either from the headset or the application itself?
yes I am able to unmute once a call is established from the application.
In this case, I suspect it's a call control issue with the headset integration. Do you have the latest version of the Jabra Direct software installed? That software is used to mediate integration between our softphones and the headset.

Hi Brian,I have contacted Jabra support before I contacted Counterpath. Jabra said the problem is a software problem, not a hardware problem. Should I try Bria?

My understanding is that you should be able to set the headset's control of the softphone from the Jabra software to begin with. Technically our headset integration is only tested and supported for Bria, but it should work roughly the same for X-Lite. Are you able to configure anything for X-Lite through Jabra Direct?
