Hi There,

Can you please let me know where the local contact database is stored for Bria 4.

I have checked C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\

But there is no CounterPath folder in this location? We are using Windows 10 operating system.

Thanks,

Hello Jack,

Can you please send me a screenshot of the Roaming folder?

Also, make sure the Counterpath Corporation folder is not hidden.

Cheers,

Hi Harpreet, the roaming folder only shows 2 folders as seen in the attached image.

To be fair, even the appdata folder didn't show, but if I type it into the path name then I can access it.

Thanks,

Jack

I have enabled hidden files and folders though, so not sure exactly what is causing this.

It should be right there in the Roaming folder. Are you on the Windows administrator account or the domain account?

I have a domain account and this is what I am using, I would expect it to be in my local profile somewhere.

We do have roaming profiles.

Would you be able to uninstall Bria and reinstall it as an administrator by right-clicking on the installer and choose Run as Administrator?

Also, may I please know the exact purpose of contacts file? Are you just looking to save a copy of it or something else?

Morning Harpreet, I have re-installed Bria as administrator but this has still not allowed me to find the contacts database. There must be one somewhere as I have local contacts, but even searching my C: drive for "contacts.db" is unsuccessful.

I was hoping to locate the file, to see if I could then distribute it to other colleagues via group policy.

Is it only happening on this particular computer or on other computers as well?

Hi Harpreet, this seems to happen for all users on all computers.

Thanks,

I have now found the files on our server used for folder redirection.

The cal can be closed.
