Solved

I see many devices for my input / output devices that should not be there!

I used to have a program for skype recording (vodburner), i uninstaled it, but i still get an option on bria 3 to use vodburner speaker and vodburner mic as output / input sources!

Sometimes this vod devices are the default, and oviously i cant listen or say anything when calling..

how can i get rid of these input / output devices from bria?

its like bria indexed them somewhere even though i dont have the vodburner program anymore

Hi Abraham,

It is possible that the OSX is caching it somewhere, or that the software was not completely uninstalled.

Try backing up and then delete all settings, under the Bria 3 folder:

~/Library/Application Support/CounterPath Corporation/Bria 3

When Bria 3 is restarted, all old settings will be gone. You will need to re-enter all settings.

Best Regards.

Hi Abraham,

There is nothing else that I know of that you can do on the Bria 3 side. I suspect that there is still something in the OSX that is still showing that as an option. Bria 3 detects from the OSX what devices are available.

Best Regards.

Hi Abraham,

You're welcome. Glad you resolved it.

I don't know much about what that system folder does. Doing a search it indicates something about a kernel extension. It's quite possible that vodburner added some extensions, but they were never removed when it got uninstalled.

Best Regards.
