Compatible Headsets and Devices

Looking for headsets to use with Bria (Bria Solo, Teams, Enterprise and custom brands)?

  • For Windows and MacOS devices, Bria works with headsets that connect via USB, Bluetooth or audio jack. Depending on the headset manufacturer, additional software may need to be installed on desktop computers.
  • For mobile devices, Bria works with most Bluetooth headsets.

See below for the compatibility guides provided by headset manufacturers. You can search their lists and filter by Counterpath and Bria.

Functionality

In general, users will gain access to some / all of the following functionalities:

  • synchronization between Bria and the headset for mute, volume up / down, hold call and answer / hang up buttons,
  • ability to switch audio between devices (e.g. from headset to built-in speaker),
  • optimized interactions when running multiple UC apps (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom and Bria),
  • core functionality such as incoming / outgoing call ringing on headset and call audio support.

Some headsets include a USB Bluetooth adapter. If you encounter interoperability issues with your headset when paired with your computer’s native Bluetooth support, we recommend pairing your headset with the USB Bluetooth adapter instead.
