How To Fully Uninstall Bria

Sometimes when troubleshooting a problem, you may need to reinstall Bria. Just reinstalling it will keep your local configuration data in place, so if there is a problem with that data, you may need to remove it manually.

To do this, uninstall Bria through your operating system first. Then, back up and delete the folders in the following directories:

Bria Solo/Teams

Windows

C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\CounterPath\bria.exe_StrongName_...
C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\CounterPath Corporation\Bria\6.0

MacOS

~/Library/Preferences/com.CounterPath_Corporation.Bria.plist
~/Library/Application Support/CounterPath Corporation/Bria/6.0

Bria 5

Windows

C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\CounterPath\Bria5.exe_StrongName_...
C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\CounterPath Corporation\Bria\5.0

MacOS

~/Library/Preferences/com.CounterPath_Corporation.Bria-5.plist
~/Library/Application Support/CounterPath Corporation/Bria/5.0

Deleting these folders will also erase Bria's local configuration data, including call history, contacts, etc. (and in the case of Bria 5, your SIP account data). Make sure that you export or otherwise back up any data you need before removing these files.

When you install Bria again, it will behave as a brand new client with no existing configuration data.
